Although it has come in handy it has a lot of flaws that need to be resolved. For instance to use the video chat it works best on wifi but when the kids leave the house if they forget to turn their wifi off then the watch cannot receive calls. Probably wouldn’t purchase again in the future.

The watch works great, but my phone is constantly getting notifications that the watch is running. I don't think there is an option to turn this off without turning off all notifications. It's very annoying! Other than that, it functions very well. I can call, text & find him. We haven't tested the geo- fencing alerts yet, but I expect it will work fine. We took a chance and bought this as a Christmas present for our 7 y.o. I bought it early so we’d have time to check it out first and make sure it works. I did run into a few issues with set up but was eventually able to troubleshoot without needing to call anyone. Now that it’s up and running, I am so excited about this watch! It is taking everything in me not to give it to my son now. It will be perfect for him.

I had been looking for a watch for years and researched all of the watches (Gizmo, Ticktalk, off brand, etc..) and was so discouraged by the shortcomings of the other watches out there that I almost gave up. When I discovered Angel Watch, I really tested this watch out extensively before I trusted it to my kiddo on day 1 of school. This watch really delivers and we couldn't be happier. The critical factors that won this watch out for me vs the others are (1) real, live, knowledgeable, helpful and responsive customer service, (2) battery life that actually lasts all day, (3) real texting to approved contacts vs. just sending voice recordings back and forth. Once you get into the watch the wealth of promised features (video calls, gps, geo fencing, SOS, pedometer, etc...) actually work! I’m most grateful that this will push off the begging for an iPhone for a many more years. For us opening our kids up to the risk of the internet for the sake of safety was something we dreaded but now it’s not an issue. Thank you Angel Watch!

I just spent an hour playing with this new little gadget for my 8 year old and im very pleased. I use it with a prepaid tmobile sim. $15 a month for 2gb. Signal is choppy where i am at home cuz we basically live in the woods. But walked around the neighborhood and its awesome. Charging it to its fullest so I can see how long the battery lasts. Wore it on my own wrist so I know it would fit many ages. Cost 90 dollars and took 9 days to get to me. Worth every penny. Will definitely come in handy when I send her to her father states away!!

Getting your network carrier to work may take a minute but it's understandable I guess as it can work with just about every one. We made the mistake of not following their guide which cost us a few hours so anybody reading this- READ THE NETWORK GUIDE and it'll save you a lot of time. Once set up and working it's great. My kids love it and I love seeing them happy and knowing I can get in touch when I'm away and can keep an eye on them. BTW- we created a geo fence around our neighborhood where there's a known dangerous intersection and I already got an alert when my girl passed where she's not allowed to go. Would never have known otherwise. Their support is great too. Recommend this to any parent.

I love this. We were about to drop $180 on Verizon's Gizmo that doesn't even have video calling. This is great. Took a min to set up but that's more of a network issue than a watch one. Angel Watch customer service was super helpful. We went with Pure Talk through AT&T for $10 a month. Highly recommended and great customer service.

We researched the heck out of alternatives and none came anywhere near the features/capabilities of the Angel Watch. We were looking for a device that we could track and communicate with our kids and this does that and so much more. Sure an Apple Watch does even more but you gotta be nuts to drop $450 for a watch for a kid that would only use 5% of it's capability and then just lose it. 79 bucks and I got a device that does everything I was looking for that I'll use 90% of and if my kid loses it, it's not the end of the world.

This watch works great! My son loves it (he is 8). I'm glad we found this watch. There are many watches on Amazon but they use 2G networks which don't work that well with location tracking - Angel Watch uses 4G which is much better (you will find 4G watches on Amazon but they are much more expensive). Also, this watch looks so much more grown up than other kids smart watches out there. We bought the SpeedTalk Mobile SIM card for $5 on Amazon and that works well. My only complaint is that the setup of the watch is lacking instructions, but the Angel Watch support team is amazing so if you have any questions email them and they will get back to you ASAP. They said they will work on a better setup guide to make it even easier to get the watch working and connected to the mobile network.

I'm divorced and my husband has the kids two times a month on weekends. Things were pretty bad and I was very worried about the time Caley was with him- to the point of panic attacks. The Angel Watch lets me remotely listen in on what was going on when he is with her and actually, everything is fine. I DEFINITELY feel much better because of this watch. Great product. For sure has allowed us to worry less about our kids in the times we can't be there like schools and sleepovers. Took forever to arrive because of this Coronavirus but Francis was really helpful and after a two week hold, got everything back on track. Not giving it five stars though because of the delayed shipment- though that was because of closures and when it reopened, everything was fine. Otherwise the watch is great.
